  ATTENTION!!! The Main Library of the Pomeranian Medical University is open till 10:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This concerns Scientific Information (not reading room and lending part). Remember that you are obliged to obey the Library rules and regulations, especially it is forbidden to eat or drink on the upper floor.   The Gold Honorable Medal of West-Pomeranian Griffin for the PMU Library. Presentation ceremony was held on 4-th December 2007. Attending the ceremony were authorities of West-Pomeranian voivodship, authorities of Pomeranian Medical University, representatives and members of Polish Librarians Association, staff and directors of Szczecin libraries. • Opening ceremony of the new PAM Library

  OPENING CEREMONY OF THE NEW PMU LIBRARY ON SEPTEMBER 27, 2007. There are many facilities for our readers in the new Main Library of PAM: a 100-seat, modern reading room with wireless internet, the lending room with free access to the shelves, 3 group study rooms, 4 individual study rooms with full-access workstations. • Removal to the new place of residence

  REMOVAL TO THE NEW PLACE OF RESIDENCE Since October 2007 the Main Library is located in the former students’ club Trans building at Powstańców Wielkopolskich Street, near the State Clinical Hospital No 2 and next to the students’ hostels. The removal of all collections was conducted in August and September 2007. Simultaneously each copy of the book or the journal was protected against theft by special magnetic stripe.   Since September 2007 the Main Library of the Pomeranian Medical University is situated in the former students’ club building TRANS at Powstańców Wielkopolskich Street.   TO PLACE A HOLD REQUEST FOR AN ITEM: sign-in select link "request" (in the "Holdings" window). Some books are not available to request a hold - there is no "request" link by the item. The books ordered until 7.00 p.m. will be able to receipt the same day after 12.00 a.m. (in the lending room) and items ordered after 7.00 p.m.- the next day. This is a unique access to online textbooks and additional online materials.
